ASELSAN added three new countries to its export portfolio in 2025, increasing the total number of countries where the company has signed export contracts to 95.
According to information from ASELSAN’s 2025 Annual Report, the company maintained the strong international business development momentum created under its aselsaneXt transformation program. The report highlights 2025 as one of the most successful export years in ASELSAN’s history.
In 2025, ASELSAN signed 272 export contracts worth more than $2.069 billion. This represents a 115 percent increase compared to the value of international sales contracts signed in the previous year. During the same period, ASELSAN signed export contracts with three countries where it had not previously made any sales and completed sales to a total of 58 countries.
The company also exported 16 different products for the first time to friendly and allied countries, showing that ASELSAN’s international growth is not limited to existing product lines but also includes newly exported technologies.
Poland Contract Becomes a Major European Milestone
One of ASELSAN’s most notable export achievements in 2025 was the $410 million electronic warfare contract signed with Poland.
The agreement covers the direct sale of advanced electronic warfare systems to Poland’s Armament Agency. EDR Magazine reported that the contract was signed on December 19 and followed a competitive international tender process. The deal is strategically important because Poland is a NATO member and one of the alliance’s major armed forces.
This contract also strengthened ASELSAN’s position in the European and NATO defense markets. According to DefenceTurk, direct exports increased by more than 327 percent in 2025 with the contribution of such major international agreements.
Physical Presence Reaches 25 Countries
ASELSAN also expanded its physical international presence in 2025 to improve access to end users and customers.
The company activated new overseas units in countries including Uzbekistan, Nigeria, the Philippines, Albania, Algeria and Romania. With these additions, ASELSAN increased the number of countries where it has a physical presence to 25.
This global footprint supports ASELSAN’s strategy of becoming not only an exporter, but also a long-term technology partner in target markets. Local offices and international units can help the company improve customer support, identify new requirements, develop partnerships and strengthen after-sales processes.
A Broader Export Strategy
ASELSAN’s 2025 export performance reflects the growing international demand for Turkish defense electronics, electronic warfare systems, radar technologies, avionics, electro-optical systems, communication solutions and air defense components.
The company’s export growth is also significant for Türkiye’s defense industry as a whole. ASELSAN is no longer expanding only through direct product sales; it is also increasing its role in international programs, platform integrations and long-term defense partnerships.
With more than $2 billion in new export contracts, 95 countries in its export history and a growing physical presence across 25 countries, ASELSAN is positioning itself as one of Türkiye’s most globally active defense technology companies.
