Samsun Yurt Savunma, known globally through its CANiK brand, is showcasing its advanced defense technologies at EFES 2026 together with UNIROBOTICS and AEI Systems.
Organized under the coordination of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense and the Turkish General Staff, EFES 2026 is one of the Turkish Armed Forces’ largest combined and joint exercises. The exercise also serves as an international platform where Türkiye demonstrates its domestic defense capabilities to friendly and allied countries.
SYS Group aims to stand out at EFES 2026 with mobile, high-firepower and integrated systems developed for the increasingly digital and asymmetric structure of modern warfare.
Layered Counter-UAV Architecture
One of the key highlights of the group’s display is UNIROBOTICS’ Distributed Mobile Layered Counter-UAV Solution.
The architecture is designed against UAV and drone swarm threats, one of the most critical challenges of today’s battlefield. It brings together TRAKON remote-controlled weapon systems, the CANiK heavy machine gun family and the VENOM LR medium-caliber cannon system under an integrated network.
With this decentralized structure, the system aims to provide flexible and sustainable protection across different altitude and range layers.

CANiK M3 FALCON at EFES 2026
The new-generation CANiK M3 FALCON heavy machine gun is also among the systems highlighted at the exercise.
Developed specifically for the demanding operational requirements of aerial platforms, the 12.7×99 mm M3 FALCON can reach a rate of fire of up to 1,200 rounds per minute. Its high rate of fire, low maintenance requirement and operational reliability make it one of CANiK’s most important new heavy weapon solutions.
TRAKON 30 and VENOM LR Integration
The TRAKON 30 Remote-Controlled Weapon System, combined with AEI Systems’ 30×113 mm VENOM LR medium-caliber cannon, offers high firepower for a wide range of platforms, from light armored vehicles to naval systems.
Its low-recoil structure makes the system suitable for modernization programs and platform integration projects. At EFES 2026, the system is being presented to military units and decision-makers as part of SYS Group’s broader integrated solution approach.
ZAHA Integration Highlights Amphibious Capability
SYS Group is also highlighting its weapon system integration on the ZAHA amphibious assault vehicle platform.
The integration demonstrates the group’s ability to adapt firepower solutions to different operational platforms, including amphibious systems. With its platform compatibility and flexible firepower configuration, the solution supports Türkiye’s growing amphibious warfare capability.
Strategic Importance
CANiK and SYS Group CEO Cahit Utku Aral stated that EFES is not only a platform demonstrating the operational strength of the Turkish Armed Forces, but also an international showcase for Türkiye’s engineering, production and integration capabilities.
The group’s presence at EFES 2026 reflects a broader strategy: expanding globally through fast delivery, reliable supply chains and combat-proven systems.
With CANiK, UNIROBOTICS and AEI Systems under the same ecosystem, SYS Group is positioning itself not only as a weapons manufacturer, but as an integrated defense solutions provider for modern battlefield requirements.
